As reported in the LA Times, PlantBased Solutions’ portfolio company, Ocean Hugger Foods™ is launching its flagship product, Ahimi™, throughout the US.

Ahimi™, described by NPR as “a dead ringer for Ahi tuna” is the world’s alternative to raw tuna for use in a variety of dishes like sushi and poke, and it is made from simple ingredients like tomatoes, soy sauce and sesame oil.

The product is now available nationwide on www.veestro.com as part of their Ahimi™ Poke Bowl and on Wednesday, November 1st it will be sold at the sushi bars in Whole Foods throughout New York and Los Angeles.
